  • All prices mentioned on this website are subject to availability, which may be withdrawn and/or changed without notice.
  • All prices quoted are subject to change and a Companion Cruising consultant should be contacted to receive a current quote at the time of booking.
  • Changes to prices may occur by reason of matters outside our control; factors include,but are not limited to,currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes and cancellation by one or more of the companion/s with whom you have been matched to share a cabin (cruise companion/s).

  • Cruise fares regularly change, however your booking cannot be reverted should a cheaper fare be released by the Cruise Line.

Select Cruise Lines provide cruise pricing in foreign currency. Fluctuations between the value of the currency and the Australian Dollar often occur which requires a change to the cost of your cruise booking. If your booking is subject to currency fluctuations, at the time of final payment you will be invoiced at the exchange rate of the day, valid for seven consecutive days. At any time after the seventh day Companion Cruising reserves the right to amend the cost of your cruise booking to reflect the most current exchange rate.

It is important that you check on your cruise quote and documentation to see what is included and what is not included. Any additional expenses not covered by your cruise fare are your responsibility and may include, but are not limited to;

  • Fuel Supplement – Cruise Lines may elect to impose a fuel supplement at any time.

If a cruise companion is found, all parties may be provided with a screening questionnaire to complete to determine if they are a suitable 'fit' with their proposed cabin companion. If then, all parties agree to proceed with the cruise booking you will be required to submit a copy of your passport or valid identification for proof of identity along with signing a disclaimer and release. Companion Cruising will then proceed to make your cruise booking. If you wish to be in contact with your cruise companion, a $50AUD per person fee applies. Provided the cruise booking is made through Companion Cruising this fee will come off the final balance of your cruise. The date for payment of the deposit varies according to the conditions of the Cruise Line. Commonly, a deposit is required at the time of booking, however in some cases the booking may be held under an option period. The option period will vary depending on the Cruise Line. If you are given an option period you must pay the deposit no later than close of business on the day the deposit is due. Details of the deposit amount and option period due date (if any) and final payment details will be identified at the time of booking and particularised on your invoice. Failure to pay the deposit amount on your invoice by the due date will result in the cancellation of your cruise booking.

Passenger names and details you provide must be exactly as recorded in your passport or valid identification. Cruise Lines reserve the right to charge fees for name changes and reissue of documentation, payable by you at an additional cost.

Cruise Lines will not release documentation until all passengers have finalised payment, immigration and registration formalities and completed on-board passenger information forms. As a guide documentation is usually available 14 to 20 days before travel. Incorrect details on a booking may lead to a delay in the release of documentation and additional fees for the reissue of tickets. Accurate completion of your information forms is your responsibility.

The due date for final payment will vary between Cruise Lines but as a general guide is due approximately 75 days prior to travel. If your booking is made within the final payment period, you may be required to pay the full amount at the time of booking or in some cases NO LATER than 24 hours from the time your booking is confirmed. Failure to make final payment by the due date may result in the cancellation of your cruise booking. The sooner final payment is received and immigration details completed the sooner documentation can be produced.

Cruise Lines may make changes and are not bound to visit a particular port of call if they decide weather or other conditions do not permit.
Companion Cruising accepts no responsibility for changes to the cruise itinerary by the Cruise Line.
